Sorcerer Tower Defense Tier List

Use this tier list to compare the best current picks, what each pick is good for, and what still needs checking before you spend rare resources.

Rankings should be refreshed after codes, updates, balance changes, new Fandom unit pages, or repeated community reports.

Ranking criteria

Power, cost, utility, and scaling

Compare picks by clear speed, survival, unlock cost, support value, replacement risk, and late-game scaling.

Source notes

Official, creator, wiki, and community checks

Treat official Roblox and creator-owned sources as strongest. Videos and community reports help with trends and use cases.

Rankings

Best current picks

Compare strong beginner, farming, team-combo, and late-game options with clear notes about when each pick is useful.

A

Justice Sorcerer (Higuruma)

Culling Game carry candidate

Early signal
update 30carry checksource-watch

The official Roblox title now highlights HIGURUMA, and the Update 30.0 description names Justice Sorcere as a new Culling Game unit. Fandom now exposes an obtainment path and cost table, so players can plan the grind while still treating final power rank as unproven.

Team combo: Plan around a 10-fragment craft path and a reported 121,480 total cost before treating it as an easy slot-in carry.

Source check: Official Roblox title and description confirm the Higuruma/Justice Sorcerer update angle; Fandom lists a Culling Game encounter path, Justice Contract option, and high total upgrade cost, and its Units page was revised again on July 23 UTC. Ranking still needs gameplay proof.

A

Lightning Sorcerer

Damage or speed candidate

Lightning Sorcerer is also named in the current official update text. Treat it as an update-watch unit, not a guaranteed S-tier pick yet.

Team combo: Use alongside a reliable boss-damage unit if its clear role is not confirmed.

Source check: Official update text confirms presence; role is inferred from naming and needs testing.

B

Kogane

Support or event-system candidate

Needs check
source-watchevent notes

Kogane appears in the official Culling Game update list. Its value depends on whether it is a combat unit, support unit, or event mechanic.

Team combo: Test it with a high-damage carry first because the reported value is single-target support and income.

Source check: Official page confirms the name; Fandom describes a support/farm role, so final ranking still needs gameplay checks.

Beginner ranking

Rank easy, safe, low-investment options for first-session players. A beginner pick should help clear early waves without demanding perfect placement or expensive upgrades.

Farming ranking

Rank options by repeatable grind speed, income, survivability, or mission value. A farming pick is only good if it saves time across many runs.

Endgame ranking

Rank the best late-game builds after unlock cost and skill ceiling are clear. Endgame value should survive balance changes better than first-day hype.

How to read tiers

Do not read the letter grade without the role

A tier list is useful only when it tells you what problem the unit solves. These rules keep early update rankings from drifting into hype.

S tier is reserved

No current update unit should be pushed into S tier from name recognition alone. It needs repeated gameplay proof, high value in more than one mode, and a cost that makes sense.

A tier can be role-specific

A unit can be A tier because it carries, because it buffs the right target, or because it solves an event problem. The role matters as much as the letter grade.

B tier is not bad

B tier often means useful but conditional. Kogane is a good example: if the support and income reports hold, it can be important without being a universal carry.

Roles

The four roles worth checking

Most team mistakes happen when every slot is treated like a damage slot.

Carry

Your main wave-clear or boss-damage unit. Judge it by upgrade path, range, attack pattern, and whether it stays useful after the first few maps.

Support

A unit that buffs, links, slows, farms, or fixes a weakness. Support value is easy to underrate because it shows up through another unit's damage.

Economy

Anything that improves money, rewards, or wave efficiency. Economy is strongest when it lets your carry hit important upgrades earlier.

Event flex

A slot held for Culling Game mechanics, new encounters, or limited reward paths. This slot should change when the event changes.

Team combo notes

Best picks need the right partners

For character, unit, or squad games, rank picks with synergy in mind instead of treating every unit as a solo carry.
